Ciocco - Chip Cake
300 gr. di farina
4 cucchiai di cacao amaro
100 gr. zucchero
230 ml. latte
2 uova
1 bustina di vanillina
3 cucchiaini di lievito per dolci
60 ml. olio di semi
50 gr. di cioccolato a pezzetini o gocce di cioccolato
ho aggiunto anche una manciata di uva passa amorbidita nel succo d'arancia
Accendere il forno a 190°. Unire in una ciottola grande setacciare la farina con il cacao, aggiungere il lievito, lo zucchero e l'olio. In un altra ciottola sbattere leggermente le uova, aggiungere il latte e la vanillina. Unire questo composto con la farina, girando con cucchiaio di legno fino a toglere i grumi. Aggiungere il cioccolato a pezzetini e l'uva strizzata (se si usa). Mettere questo composto in uno stampo da plum cake imburrato. Cuocere per circa 30 minuti. Io comunque faccio sempre prima la prova con lo stuzzicchino.
Lasciate che si raffredi per bene prima di tagliare, perche diventa molto delicato e si rompe facilmente.
Cocoa-Chocolate Chip Cake
Ingredients
300 gr. all-purpose flour
4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
230 ml. milk
2 eggs
100 gr. white sugar
60 ml. sunflower oil
3 tsp baking powder
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
100 gr. chocolate chips
a handful of raisins
1/3 cup orange flavored liqueur
Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a baking loaf pan, set aside.
Combine raisins with the liqueur in a small bowl, set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine the flour with the cocoa powder, the baking powder and the sugar. In another mixing bowl beat the eggs, add the milk, sunflower oil and pure vanilla extract. Stir in flour mixture. Mix with the wooden spoon well to combine. Dry the raisins from the liqueur and add to the mixture, the add the chocolate chps. Pour the batter into the prepared baking loaf. Bake about 35-40 minutes. Cool completely. Be very careful when you slice the cake because it's VERY soft!
